Here Comes The Tears.
There's not a day I don't kneel and pray
Most of the time I know not what to say
But when I start to speak and I know Jesus is near
The words come easy and here comes the tears
I know that our Lord will listen to me
And I'm not ashamed of the tears you will see
There'll come a day when our Lord we will hear
My Father said come and He'll dry all our tears
Here comes the tears that's been flowing so long
They've come down from heaven straight from the throne
I gave you my Son so my voice you could hear
And when my Son died then came the tears.
The tears now have all turned to smiles
We've made the long trip up so many miles
When I see Jesus in heaven I'll greet
And I'll soothe the scars that's still on His feet.
I've dreamed this story so many times
But I know He's coming just look at the signs
He said He'd come for us all through the years
And when I think of that time then here comes the tears.
