Jesus Is My Comforter
In these troubled days our
patience is tried
and we forget about Jesus who died.
He paid for our sins, that day on the cross
His Father a King, paid the brave cost.
God led His people across
the dry land
And for forty years they crossed through the sand.
Our Father was with them in a cloud up above
He gave them shelter, food and His love.
I will not leave you, He spoke from the cloud
And when He spoke the message was loud.
You need not to worry, you need not get down
For when you need me, my cloud will come down.
So if you are cold and are
at wits end
Just look towards heaven and you'll find a friend.
He'll always be there to help one another
And down from His cloud He'll send you a cover.
Jesus will comfort and see to your
need
Like the ones in the desert you too will succeed.
So if you are lost and your way can't be found
Don't look up to heaven, your cloud is on the ground.
