We struggle in life just to survive.
While some people seem so full of life.
We wonder why we cant be the same.
If we'll stop and think, we are to blame.

 Jesus is there and always has been.
He gave up his life to pay for our sins.
So when you think that you can't go on
Remember it's darkest just before dawn.

  Just before dawn He rose on that day
And with him he cast our sins far away.
Your faith in the lord, you can count on.
And your brightest hour is just before dawn.

 Your life will change when you turn to the lord.
And a mansion in heaven now will be yours.
Your sins are forgiven and you will be blessed.
 And your sins are as far as the East from the West.

There's such a great feeling when we are clean
When you're washed in the blood,
You'll know what I mean.
 A pathway to heaven you will be on.
And your miracle could happen just before dawn.
