For A Sweet Angel's Love

It's that time again to honor mama today.
How much do we owe her, to her what do you say.
If it came down to money we would never have enough.
For there is no price to place on our mama's love.

If we would ask mama what was her love worth.
She would say we have paid her since the day of our birth.
To just sit and hold us when we were sick at night.
Or wait for us to come home to know we were alright.

Mary would hold Jesus at night when he cried.
And knew in her heart that on a cross he would die.
She knew that God would call him to heaven above.
Yet that price she would pay for the son she so loved.

Many of our mothers have already gone home.
But to God we can turn when we feel so alone.
If you still have mama you can never tell her enough
Mama I love you!! you are an angel from above.
