How many times, as through this life we go.
Do you just need a friend but who, you don't know.
Jesus is in heaven, beside God on his throne.
And through God's son, we are never alone.
Our precious Lord, He ask for little from us.
To be cleansed of our sins, and in Jesus we can trust.
Loved ones are waiting, who God has already called home.
And on the other side of Jordan, we shall never walk alone.
God paid the grave cost, for us to be set free.
It was a King who walked up Calvary, to be nailed to that tree.
God could of made, His son's sentence lighter.
But God set us free, when He went a little bit higher.
After the soldier had driven, those three nails that day.
When Jesus was stood up, they heard our Lord say.
Father forgive them, for what they have done.
The soldier through tears, cried this is God's Son.
Father I thank you, for all that You have done.
For the sacrifice You made, of Your precious Son.
Until that day comes, when You choose
to call me home.
I'll praise Your Holy Name, and know I'll never walk alone. Written and copyrighted by Ken Ferguson June 26th 2007
