Today I Started Loving Him Again

I remember that time, when I first found the Lord.
My heart was so happy, and my sprits they soared.
But I let Satan in, and he pulled me down.
I forgot about Jesus, the one who wears the crown.

Our Father knows we are weak, and sometimes we may fall.
And he picked me up, when at the altar I called.
Satan had no power, when my Lord took me in.
I was cleansed by his blood, and cleared of my sins.

And today, I started loving him again.
I'll never go back, to the way I had been.
My God is forgiving, and will never let me down.
And never shall I forget, that my Lord wears the crown.

It's been many years, and life's been so good.
My Lord made this happen, when he was nailed to the wood.
So if you have fallen, back to a life of sin.
Then today is the day, to start loving him again.
