Lord you called mother home, a few years ago.
And it hurt so bad, but it was her time to go.
Her body was weak, and she suffered with pain.
But I know in heaven, she will never suffer again.

Mothers are angels, sent by God from above.
And we are not alone, for we have their love.
Through sickness or pain, when you can turn to no other.
