Though silent tears do fall
Ken gave his love to the Savior's call.
How sweetly Ken goes into His arms
No more to feel this world's harm.
Jesus smiles and holds him tight.
He knows that Ken put up a valiant fight.
The resting place is not the end
For Jesus says, "Well done my good and faithful friend."

Truly
our hearts are breaking
upon this news. We rejoice
because we KNOW where Ken
is at but we sorrow
for our loss here in
earth. Ken was a motivator
& an encourager
through his songs
& the beautiful pages
that he sent out; not to
mention his letters introducing
each page he sent. I loved
to hear him talk about the
garden & what he was
going to have for
supper. But most of all, I
loved to listen to his
songs that he wrote. I
could spend hours sitting
in front of my computer
& listen to song after
song after song. The words
will live on here in earth
but as the memorial page
said...his songwriting has
just begun!!! Just imagine
what his first song in
heaven will be about! I
pray that the Lord's
wonderful arms of peace
& comfort surround
Ken's family as they
endure the remainder of
their time here in earth
without him but I know
they are rejoicing because
they know Ken is in a much
greater place than we all
are.
God
bless you all mightily!

This
is a message for Chrissy:
Dear Chrissy and family, I
have not had the joy of
knowing Ken very long.
But I have truly enjoyed all
his songs and poems and they
have meant so much to me. I
know how hard it is for you
and I understand exactly how
you feel.
I lost my Mother when I was
just a small child, she died
on Mother's Day. I
still struggle with it every
day but God has been
wonderful to me, and He has
been wonderful to you,
giving you such a beautiful
God fearing man to love all
these years. Here is a
prayer for you. Dear
Lord Jesus, I lift up
Chrissy to you and ask you
to help her feel your love
and comfort. Be with
her in the hard times and
help her to feel your
presence. In Jesus name
Amen. May God bless you
Chrissy, Love in Christ
Rachel.

I
have a poem I would like to
dedicate to Chrissy and her
late husband Ken. I wrote
this some years ago after my
mother died. Ken was a great
inspiration to all of us and
he will be dearly missed.

We
shall
sleep,
but
not
forever;
We
shall
rest
beneath
the
trees;
We
shall
wake
to
live
forever
in
the
land
of
Jesus.
Then
weep
not
for
me,
Then
weep
not
for
me.
For
I am
going
o'er
death's
river,
and
you
soon
will
follow
me.
Yes,
I
feel
death's
chill
upon
me,
And
my
friends
are
all
in
tears.
But
my
Savior
still
upholds
me,
and
has
banished
all
my
fears.
Then
weep
not
for
me,
Then
weep
not
for
me.
O
the
grave
lies
cold
before
me,
And
we're
called
awhile
to
part.
Yet
His
words,
"I'll
never
leave
thee,
"
Live
still
within
my
heart:
Then
weep
not
for
me,
Then
weep
not
for
me.
O to
meet
again
in
Heaven,
what
a
blessing
it
will
be!
There
will
all
our
sins
be
forgiven,
And
from
death
forever
free:
Then
weep
not
for
me,
Then
weep
not
for
me.
Amen
